The garden is coming along by leaps and bounds. The recent rain has been particularly gratefully received. There are raspberries and strawberries that are ready to eat already.

The broad beans are coming along nicely too - there's one plant that is twice as tall as the others. How does that happen? The pods are fattening and it won't be long before they are stirred into a risotto primavera.

But we will have to wait a few more months before we can enjoy the Bramley's Seedling cooking apples that are developing slowly but surely on the tree outside my office window.
