I think this is all part of my winter need to clear the decks, but I've said goodbye to a few things recently. I gave away a juicer that had been gathering dust in the kitchen. I sent off a bag of 4ply yarn leftovers to someone who would make better use of them. And today I'm posting away the yellow jumper.
Perhaps it's the colour, or maybe something else, but I fell out of love with this project. And I'm not going to force myself to finish it just because. So instead it's winging its way to a friend who will both finish and wear it. That makes me happy.
I'm also looking to get rid of a knitting kit that's been in my stash for more than 5 years. It's a beautiful kit of 4 balls of 100% brushed suri alpaca from Frog Tree yarn, along with a pattern for the Lingering Doubts Shawl. The yarn is 4ply weight, and a deep pink/red colour. There's no good reason why I've not made it. I have just not got round to it, and now 4ply projects (apart from socks) just seem like too much of an undertaking.
If you would like this knitting kit (as pictured), just leave me a comment to make me smile, and I will choose from the replies I get when the comments close, two weeks from today. Please only enter once per person. I'm happy to send the kit anywhere in the world. No alternative prize is available.
That's all for now. I hope you're all enjoying your knitting. I can't wait to show you what's next up on my needles...
P.S. Apologies if I've left you with a Frozen earworm. It's a common one in our house. "Let it go, let it go, can't hold me back any more..."
